New Jersey personal injury law firm Grungo Colarulo launched its metaverse office in December 2021 and Gleiss Lutz became the first major European law firm to open in the metaverse last summer.

ArentFox bought a stake in the metaverse in February. ArentFox co-managing partner Joseph Krasovec said the move made sense to them as they deal with customers in a number of ways, and the expanding metaverse is another way to engage with potential and current customers.

As part of its expansion into the metaverse, ArentFox prides itself on advising organizations “at the forefront of technology trends,” providing “advice on the opportunities and challenges presented by blockchain and digital assets.”
