Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg may be enamored with the metaverse, but the people who have to work on it have a decidedly different view.

Meta has been investing heavily in the metaverse, the next generation of immersive and augmented virtual reality. Zuckerberg has a vision of what he wants the metaverse to be, one that is reminiscent of something straight out of Ready Player One.

People who actually try to work the metaverse aren’t all that excited, citing issues and irritations that constantly get in the way.
