The American multinational toy producer Mattel has Announced the debut of the official Masters of the Universe (MOTU) digital collection in partnership with non-fungible token (NFT) digital toy maker, Cryptoys.
The firm also stated that the first set of collectible heroes and villains will be made public in November.
Since its inception in 1945, Mattel has created some of the world’s most recognized iconic toy brands, including Barbie, Thomas & Friends, UNO, Fisher-Price and Hot Wheels. The California-based toymaker released this recent update on his website for the well-known MOTU, while claiming that he collaborated with Cryptoys to “bring Eternia into the world of NFTs.”
Cryptoys is a virtual toy for the recreation, collection and use of the Flow Network, a blockchain initiative also used by the NBA Top Shot and NFL All Day NFT collections created by Dapper Labs.

Additionally, each wave will feature 4 hero roles per wave, for a total of 12 heroes. So there are 84 collectible toys in total, with 28 collectible toys in each set. There will be 120,000 MOTU Cryptoys in total, and each MOTU will include 10,000 toys for each character.
Similarly, each hero in Cryptoys has 7 different rarity categories, ranging from “Common” to “Ultra Grail”. The rarer a skin, the more precious it is, so each MOTU character will have a variety of skins in varying numbers.
