Days after the former president donald trumpThe NFT collection of Dominated the cryptosphere and captured the attention of social networks, the enthusiasm around the project has faded, and its prices and trading volume have decreased after the weekend.
According to data from CryptoSlam, the transaction volume of Trump’s digital business cards, created in the Ethereal EUR/USD scaling network Polygon MATIC/USDit peaked on December 17 at over $3.5 million.
On Sunday, the average sale price for NFTs rose further to just over $680 a piece, despite a decline in total volume to just under $1.95 million for the day.
However, on Monday, daily trading fell 57% to approximately $836,000 on Ethereum, with an average selling price of around $466.
Trump NFTs are currently being offered for sale on major marketplace OpenSea for just 0.21 ETH, or around $255.
Trump launched his digital trading cards last Thursday, and in the initial sale, 44,000 of the NFTs sold for $99 each.
Along with other potential benefits, the chance to win a meeting with the former president motivated buyers.

The founders of the project retained an additional 1,000 NFTs, bringing the total supply to 45,000.
While critics, and even some Trump supporters, derided the project, it sold out in less than 24 hours, generating demand in the secondary market.
Since then, secondary transactions for the project have totaled more than $8.7 million.
The minimum price, or the cheapest posted NFT, hit 0.84 ETH (around $990) on Saturday as momentum peaked over the weekend.
Before NFTs were ridiculed on NBC’s late-night comedy show Saturday Night Live, prices fluctuated in the market.
In just three days, the price of the apartment was reduced by 74%.
On CryptoSlam’s list of the best-selling projects in the last 24 hours, Trump’s digital trading card project ranks 10th.
It had sales of around $472,000 during that time period, while Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) leads the list with NFT sales of $3.8 million.
In addition to uniting two contentious issues, Trump and NFT, the initiative has been criticized for allegedly using stolen artwork on some of its cards.
