The primary goal of the project is to advance the development of solutions to support metaverse experiences with Meta Platforms, Microsoft, Sparkle, T-Mobile, and Telefonica as initial co-chairs.

They will work closely together and aim to align industry-wide network capabilities, specific APIs, and mechanisms needed to access end-to-end network capabilities that support immersive applications at scale.
