The 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) took place this year as the world continues to face complex socio-economic problems. Many economies are still recovering from the Covid-19 crisis. And with just eight more years to go to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the burden of ending poverty, responding to climate change and achieving equality for all points to the urgency of clearly focused solutions to address these crises.
