Currently, there are more than 1.2 million residents in nursing homes in the United States and more than 800,000 residents in assisted living facilities. As the baby boomer population ages, these numbers are projected to skyrocket: by 2050, up to 30 million people in the Americas will require long-term care services.

In other words, there will be many people who need quality care.
