Indian music composer AR Rahman, who won the Oscar for Best Original Score for his work on the hit film Slumdog Millionaire, has released the katraar metaverse platform to promote new musical creations and other art forms.

• “katraar means a group of educated people who can change the world,” Rahman said in a Twitter post. “This platform is to attract new talent, technologies and generate direct income to help emerging technologies and probably unite them going forward,” she said.
