Leading meme coin Shiba Inu or SHIB has taken second place in the secure crypto project category compiled by CertiK’s Web3 security classification report.
With a Skynet trust score of 93, SHIB has outperformed Polygon’s MATIC. The meme coin ranking was evaluated based on indicators such as the relative security of the crypto project, market performance and social sentiment,
It should be noted that the above score was an average of a “Safety” score of 92 and a “Market & Community” score of 95, which is determined by measuring the aforementioned factors.
The salient features of the Shiba Inu project, according to the report, include decentralization, sizeable market capitalization, longevity, availability of bug bounties, and a sizeable social following.
Shiba Inu also ranks first in the top 10 DEX projects on the watch list at CertiK. Popular platforms 1Inch and PancakeSwap are left behind by SHIB’s ShibaSwap decentralized exchange.
That being said, the SHIB ecosystem is filled with many activities. Recently, the team behind the Shiba Inu cryptocurrency teased an exciting event with German auto powerhouse Bugatti Group.
Both parties have been low-key about what customers can anticipate, though a promo video hinted that it will be a Shiba Inu-themed line of handbags.
Additionally, Shibarium’s official Twitter account, Shibarium Network, released another update on January 7 detailing the planned beta release in early 2023.
Shiba Inu is getting closer to launching its Layer-2 solution
A few days ago, the Shiba Inu ecosystem announced that every Shibarium transaction will burn SHIB.
He further stated that Shibarium’s release was almost here and that the creators were “now concentrating on delivery”. Users were urged to pay attention to the announcements made on the official websites to stay informed about new details regarding the release of the beta version.
Earlier, as TronWeekly reported, Shibarium confirmed that BONE remains the core token of choice for gas usage and fees. And that, other tokens will not be required to operate within the ecosystem.
This comes after a Unification fund validator and operator named Ringoshi Toitsu spoke out on Twitter about the Shiba Inu Shibarium.
In it, the developer said that BONE would serve as the gas token and FUND would power the Shibarium back-end. This could have led to the confusion of the tokens.
For those new to it, UnificationUND is the creator of the Shiba Inu layer 2 scaling solution.
