For the first time ever, a virtual celebration for Saudi Arabia’s National Day will be held on a Metaverse platform.

The online festivities will include a computer-generated museum showcasing Saudi heritage from different areas of the Kingdom.

Players can purchase non-expendable token (NFT) outfits for their virtual avatars inspired by traditional Saudi attire from various regions.

Anyone who participates can also obtain a ‘Proof of Attendance Protocol’ (POAP), a digital badge that verifies that they attended the event.

It will take place on the Decentraland Metaverse platform from September 22 to 24, and the National Day will be on September 23.
