If you’re a console gamer and not a parent, you may not have much first-hand experience with Roblox, but the online platform and game creator is hugely popular with kids all over the world. This popularity has made it an advertising target with Walmart looking to cash in on an experience tailored to the platform.
The retailer has a couple of “immersive experiences” available on Roblox, which it’s marketing as a big step into the metaverse (via The Verge).
