RendezVerse, which bills itself as a metaverse platform-as-a-service for hotels and events, has raised £7.5 in seed funding to scale its business.
RendezVerse says its mission is to bring physical venues to digital life by conducting more than 100 million site inspections each year at corporate events, conferences, weddings, and live venues. It claims that its MaaS solutions save time, money and emissions by drastically reducing unnecessary travel.
With the funding, RendezVerse, which counts WorldwideEvents as a founding shareholder, says it will acquire 3,000 venues and 10,000 users and plans to hit £30m in sales by 2026.
