The computing power for the metaverse is unlike anything we’ve seen and it will require a huge amount of support from the physical world to support its offer of an unrestricted digital universe. While this will no doubt create huge demand for more power and cutting-edge computing sites, it will also require billions of gallons of water in the coming years, which, frankly, we don’t have to spare.
