NEW YORK, Jan. 10, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Ignoring signals from the general population, tech evangelists have hailed the benefits of the “metaverse” for everyone; however, a new study from BlueLabel shows that most people don’t really care.
The study surveyed 1,008 people, collected data from ages 18 to 84, and revealed respondent usage among 19 of today’s most popular metaverses. It also examines the motivation to use the metaverse (ie, to enjoy and earn income), as well as the respondents’ income and expenses.
Carried out at the beginning of December 2022, it reveals the following data:
- Just more than half of all respondents (52%) reported that they do not interact with the metaverse either way.
