In collaboration with CMS, the German digital association Bitkom has recently published a guide to the metaverse.

The metaverse is often seen as the next big thing in technology and “the future of the internet.” However, the commercial potential and the legal framework of the metaverse have not been widely discussed in German business and society.

To bridge this gap, Bitkom, the German association for the digital economy with more than 2,000 members, has released a guide to the metaverse, which provides an overview of the metaverse in terms of concept, technologies, business models, impact on society, and legal aspects.
