ATLANTA — One of Atlanta’s historically black colleges is changing things up when it comes to learning in the metaverse.
The metaverse is a three-dimensional, computerized virtual world. If you are studying the solar system, you can go to Mars. If you’re studying US history, you can go back in time to the American Revolution or the Underground Railroad.
Morehouse College is the first college to deliver courses in this digital world.
Channel 2’s Dave Huddleston recently visited the digital version of the Morehouse College campus in southwest Atlanta.
You arrive in the metaverse by putting on headphones through which you can see and hear.
