RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK – Lenovo has been talking about VR headsets since 2017. Early next year, the global PC giant says VR headsets will be available for use by businesses; the price has not yet been determined.

Lenovo is therefore looking to cash in on an exploding metaverse virtual world industry. The size of the metaverse market is projected to reach more than $1.5 trillion before the end of the decade, growing at nearly 50% annually, according to Fortune Business Insights.

The company unveiled the ThinkReality VRX headset early Wednesday and it promises to be available early next year.
