Earlier this year, when we covered the news that Meta had signed on with fast-food giant McDonald’s as a client of Workplace, the B2B service that was originally conceived as a Facebook for businesses, we noted that Workplace, the product, interestingly, he had been moved into a larger division of “Reality Labs” to bring it closer to Meta’s virtual reality business. Today, Meta is announcing some new developments that speak to this pivot: a series of business services aimed at a new effort to get businesses to use its new $1,499 high-spec Meta Quest Pro VR headset in the workplace.

They include a new version of the company’s Horizon Workrooms and partnerships with Microsoft, Accenture, Adobe and Autodesk to create more designer- and enterprise-ready VR services.
