Meta Platforms metaverse losses will get worse before they get better. The company’s third-quarter results showed the largest earnings shortfall and lowest revenue for its Reality Labs division since the final quarter of 2020, the first period in which Facebook’s parent released separate results for its metaverse unit.
Not only does Meta have trouble attracting users to its project, but shareholders hate it. But the company remains firm in its vision.
