metaplatforms (GOAL – Free Report) recently announced that it is implementing Precision Time Protocol (PTP) in its data centers to synchronize its computer networks in nanoseconds.
The PTP implementation reflects Meta Platforms’ strategy of investing in technologies that will help deliver a better experience across its family of applications, generating the majority of its revenue. In the third quarter, the app family generated 99% of its total revenue.
