Zuckerberg’s Metaverse, once filled with virtual reality, may be making a turn to include AR.
Since Mark Zuckerberg unveiled his VR-based Metaverse vision in late 2021, I have often questioned the logic of his strategy. I’ve been researching the concept of virtual reality for decades, and the idea of a person wearing immersive 3D glasses for extended periods of time doesn’t seem feasible to mainstream consumers.
