It’s fair to say that no one is more excited about Meta’s future metaverse than billionaire CEO, co-founder, and chairman Mark Zuckerberg. Consider his utter delight when, earlier this week, he announced “one more feature coming soon that is probably the most requested feature on our roadmap.”

“Legs!” he said. “I think everyone has been waiting for this!”

In fact, it was the addition of legs to Meta’s metaverse that made the most headlines this week, not the improved haptic and tracking features or the built-in web browser of the new Quest Pro mixed reality headset.

Zuckerberg explained that Meta will use an artificial intelligence model to predict and represent the positions of a user’s entire body. “But as delightful as the live reveal may have been, it looks like the legs of Horizon Worlds…
