In the South Pacific, the island nation of Tuvalu has decided to turn to Web3 technology to ensure that its culture and society are preserved into the future.
On November 15, the country’s foreign minister, Simon Kofe, told the COP27 climate summit that he is looking for alternative ways to protect the country’s heritage against rising sea levels caused by climate change. One of those ways is to recreate yourself in the metaverse.
