Held during Art Basel Miami Beach, the songwriting bootcamp brought together top web3 artists Reo Cragun and the world’s first meta-star Angelbaby. Led by platinum-platinum executive producer and co-founder of Hume Stolar (Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato) and two-time Grammy Award-winning Blocktones co-founder Gino Borri (aka Gino The Ghost), this writing camp is the first step to highlighting how songwriters and producers can use the intellectual property of their Blocktones radio-ready beats.

Through IP OP3N, Blocktones, the web3 music startup, is one of the first large-scale NFT music projects to grant full intellectual property rights to NFT owners. Not to be confused with Open Source IP (or CC0) where the IP is free for anyone to use, OP3N IP is only controlled by whoever owns the token.

For starters, the 2-day camp resulted in the creation of two songs with plans to release the singles on a web3 platform in late 2023.
