Formula One (F1) continues to make inroads into the non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and metaverse space after previously filing trademarks ahead of the Las Vegas Grand Prix circuit scheduled for November 2023.
The filing with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) on October 5 was revealed in a tweet from NFT and metaverse licensed trademark attorney Michael Kondoudis in a cheep October 10th.
According to Mr. Kondoudis, the trademark filings will include licenses for cryptocurrencies, NFTs and crypto markets, virtual goods retail stores, blockchain financial transactions, cryptocurrency trading, mixed reality environments, and crypto mining, among other things.
