CAIRO – The center of the Egyptian creative community Tutera announced the launch of the first phase of Metaut, the first Egyptian city to enter the metaverse, an immersive virtual environment. It is the largest project and the first of its kind developed in this field in Egypt, in cooperation with Cube Consultants, a visionary architecture firm based in Cairo.

Ashraf Abdel Mohsen, the chairman of the board of directors of Tutera, told Al-Monitor that the metaverse is now arousing the interest of major countries and international companies as it will shape the future of the world in all fields.
