Bedu, a Dubai-based metaverse company, has unveiled its new virtual world that focuses on the UAE’s space exploration aspirations and is the first to simulate the UAE’s planned mission to Mars.
The virtual world, called Metaverse Project 2117, aims to become an environment that will host 100 million users in the next 10 years, leveraging decentralized hosting and blockchain techniques to deliver high-end aesthetics, Bedu said.
It is in keeping with the United Arab Emirates Mars 2117 Projectwhich aims to establish the first habitable human settlement on the Red Planet by 2117. As part of the strategy, the Emirates will build a complex of buildings called Mars Scientific City.
