DAVOS, SWITZERLAND, Jan. 17, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Leading blockchain data analytics company CryptoSlam and Web3 media company Forkast.News announce a merger to form Forkast Labs, the world’s first intelligence Web3-centric data and media platform

Forkast Labs was born out of the lack of a standard methodology to determine the true value of Web3 assets. Until now, Web3 has largely been measured against cryptocurrency prices, creating highly volatile and ultimately inaccurate sentiment-based data that has eroded confidence in the industry. Forkast Labs aims to change that by creating data tools, indices, and methodologies to value the digital economy, as well as providing reporting and analysis.

The new company will begin by launching flagship data indices, APIs and business intelligence products to measure the digital economy based on real-time on-chain data. This will create a universal methodology and allow for the evaluation of blockchain projects that will be meaningful to any investor or participant in the digital asset space.

Former Bloomberg host and Forkast.News founder Angie Lau and CryptoSlam founder Randy Wasinger will serve as co-CEOs of Forkast Labs. Forkast.News co-founder Sarah Chang will serve as COO of the combined entity.
