According to a Trend Force report, Apple’s mixed reality headsets due to launch in 2022 would need subscription software every month.

In 2015, Apple launched smart wearable watches that offer more than 50% more screen area. After this launch, it was discovered that Apple was inactive in launching any new wearable product on the market. Finally, in 2021, Apple has just officially confirmed that its AR/VR headsets are totally real. The price of these is from 2000 dollars to $3000 US dollars. You’ll be able to get down to business with Apple’s upcoming AR VR headset for gaming and communication. This headset is a combination of virtual composite views for the wearer. Analysts predicted that along with mixed reality, these VR headsets will need additional subscription software on a monthly basis.

You know what, Apple is cleverly targeting this product for the commercial market, attracting hundreds and thousands of people by setting low prices. Since the commercial market is influenced by Microsoft HoloLens 2, which is priced above US$1,000 up to US$3,500. The fact is that the market only focused on the benefits of software and hardware integration. Therefore, Apple has decided to jump into the AR/VR device market. These headphones have multiple sensors installed and advanced processing that comfortably blends with its surroundings. These headsets will show augmented reality capturing the attention of gamers.

Still, I’m dubious about what this subscription software could offer, as long as this headset is efficient for media consumption purposes. The challenge is to launch the product that allows users to close off the real world and compete with Meta’s upcoming hybrid VR headset that isn’t as expensive as Apple’s headset. The main drawback of this technology could be overheating. To address this, the Apple Company is trying to fit two processors into its first headphones. Some of the features that I know about Apple earphones are; a dimensional audio system, which enhances the sound experience, two chips that will contain high-performance computing power, cameras installed to offer amazing visual experiences. Above all, the most exciting news is that Apple is releasing a new operating system for its AR/VR headset device.

Right now, it looks like we’ll have to wait until 2023 to see the earphones launch, though there’s still a chance that the development of this news will give enough time for the app developer to release apps for this product.
