Apple is working on an augmented reality/virtual reality (AR/VR) headset that is said to work with realityOS and for video content, the Cupertino tech giant is said to be teaming up with Hollywood directors. Sources confirmed to the New York Times that Jon Favreau will create mixed reality content that will be based on the Apple TV Plus series called Prehistoric Planet that he had previously produced.
However, Apple fans and tech enthusiasts have to wait until next year to experience mixed reality video content, as the headset is expected to launch in 2023. The Cupertino tech giant will host the conference. World of Developers (WWDC) 2022 today which will be broadcast live on the company’s official YouTube channel and website at 10:20 pm IST. The company will present new versions of iOS, iPADOS, watchOS, macOS and realityOS. However, augmented reality/virtual reality (AR/VR) headsets may not appear during the event.
It is said that Apple will introduce a new set of tools for developers that will allow them to include camera and voice functions in their applications. The company has yet to reveal the arrival or existence of the AR/VR headset; however, sources have confirmed that it will arrive in 2023.

As mentioned, the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2022 will be broadcast live on June 6 at 10:30 pm IST on the company’s official website and official YouTube channel.
