Apple’s first mixed reality headset may have something in common with the company’s latest. MacBook Air Y MacBook Pro. The headset, expected to be just one piece in a “deluge” of products rumored to be released next year, could sport the company’s flagship M2 processor, according to Mark Gurman’s Sunday newsletter for Bloomberg.
the M2Unveiled in June alongside the new MacBook Air and Pro, it features redesigned central processing units and a significant increase in memory, which would give the rumored headset a huge boost over the previous M1 chip.
The headset, which is supposed to incorporate virtual and augmented reality environments, is expected to provide a boon to the gaming industry. Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said earlier in the week that the headphones… expected to be announced in January 2023 — would be the most complicated product Apple has ever designed.
Apple CEO Tim Cook has expressed his enthusiasm for AR. Earlier this week, he explained that the technology industry is still in the “very early stages” of the possibilities of this technology.
