OpenSea adds avalanche support in heady week for NFT

Oscar-winning actor Anthony Hopkins made his first foray into NFTs on Thursday, with collectors snapping up all 1,000 NFTs for sale in a matter of minutes.

The Eternal Collection is inspired by the wide range of characters Hopkins has played throughout his film career and has been released on OpenSea. Initially scheduled for 3 p.m. ET, the launch was delayed by around 45 minutes due to technical issues caused by “high demand.”

When it resumed, the collection sold out in less than seven minutes, according to orange kitethe company that collaborated with the two-time Oscar winner on the project.
