While the metaverse may still be in its infancy, and while there is not yet widespread agreement on what the metaverse actually means it is or will come to be, at least a couple of things are clear. First, a variety of companies, from established tech giants to niche startups, are investing in immersive technology that blurs the lines between real life and the world of virtual reality. Second, just like the boring old world of conventional websites, the opportunities for business and therefore advertising in the metaverse are enormous.
