Archer Roose Wines pokes fun at the metaverse in its latest ad featuring actress Elizabeth Banks.
‘Into the Metaverse’ opens with Banks, who is also a co-owner and creative director of the brand, in her kitchen wearing a funky pair of glasses while stating that everything around her seems ‘so real’.
When her confused friend joins her in the kitchen, she asks why the Hunger Games actress is wearing sunglasses. Adding to her hilarity, Banks hands her friend a vase, or as she calls it, a non-expendable token.
It’s a tongue-in-cheek campaign that plays on the fact that not many people can identify what the metaverse really is, and positions Archer Roose as a product best enjoyed in the real world with real-world people.
