GARTNER/XPO IT SYMPOSIUM — When high school students ask Accenture CEO Julie Sweet what they should study in college, she gives the same blunt answer: “Major what you love.”
However, she adds a caveat:
“Take a technology class.”
This is what you would imagine the CEO of one of the most powerful consultancies in the world would say.
Majoring in any interest a student promotes curiosity and learning. That’s what Sweet told the audience during Tuesday’s keynote address at the Gartner IT Symposium/Xpo in Orlando, Florida.
