The game will feature the biggest stars of the Italian champion, who will make suggestions to improve the game to make it as accurate and engaging as possible for players. In the future, AC Milan will also organize sports tournaments that will bring together the best players from around the world and great prizes await the winners.

“We are particularly proud to be the first football club to partner with MonkeyLeague, bringing the game closer to our fans around the world and offering them an innovative new way to interact with their favorite team,” said AC Milan Chief Revenue Officer.

AC Milan’s Crypto Involvement

AC Milan’s collaboration with MonkeyLeague is not the football club’s first foray into cryptocurrency. The club debuted its NFT campaign in 2021 with Chiliz, which ensures fans are rewarded with AC Milan Token ($ACM) through the Socios.com rewards program.

Cryptocurrency giant Binance also made an announcement to list $ACM a month after the token’s launch. Binance offered a 25% discount to customers before the token went live at the time.

In July, AC Milan partnered with Sorare’s NFT-based soccer game, model similar movements from other sports clubs such as SL Benfica. According to the club, the new association is an important step to improve its Web3 development.
