(Kitco News) – Microsoft appears to be changing its metaverse strategy to focus more on business and less on social interactions between users, judging by recent developments at the multinational tech corporation.
AltspaceVR, a Microsoft-owned social virtual reality platform, announced that it will close its doors on March 10 so the project team can shift its focus “to support immersive experiences powered by Microsoft Mesh.”
