The Binance Charity Scholar Program (BCSP) will also offer Web3 courses that will allow students to improve their skills without having to overcome unnecessary financial barriers.
The Binance cryptocurrency exchange is gearing up to provide further educational opportunities in the emerging Web 3 space. According to the latest development, Binance Charity will fund more than 30,000 Web3 scholarships as part of the Binance Scholar Program.
The Binance Charity Scholar Program (BCSP) will also offer Web3 courses that will allow students to improve their skills without having to overcome unnecessary financial barriers. In its blog post last week, the Binance Charity explained:
“We recognize that digital education and skills development may be out of reach for many, resulting in a blockchain industry that lacks diversity and talent. The Binance Scholar program changes all that, covering tuition costs and course fees at some of the world’s leading universities, colleges, and vocational training providers.”
The blog post also adds that nearly 82,000 students have shown interest in being part of the next BCSP cohort. Some of Binance’s educational partners include top-tier institutions such as the University of Western Australia, the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management in Germany, the University of Nicosia in Cyprus, and Nigeria-based technology hub Utiva. In addition, the free French-based training center Simplon has also shown interest in hosting some of the BCSP events.
“The response to our Web3 education projects is unprecedented, and shows the great appetite of many people to learn about blockchain, De-Fi [sic]NFT, encryption and much more,” said Helen Hai, director of the Binance Charity Foundation.

The BCSP serves as a platform that offers interested individuals access to the necessary skills. In addition to offering course fee support, the program also involves providing job opportunities for people to seek experience.
To implement BSP, Binance distributed almost $2.2 million worth of BUSD to prominent educational institutions in various countries. Last year, Binance Charity partnered with and funded Nigeria-based Utiva Tech School by offering Web3 education to 50,000 students.
In addition, BCSP has also formed a collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine. This is to help all the Ukrainians who have lost their jobs due to the war with Russia.
In addition, Binance Charity also received partnership support from Binance Academy, Binance’s non-profit blockchain education portal. Helen Hai also added: “We are seeing interest from a wide range of people, including a large proportion of women. […] With so many more educational initiatives with amazing partners on the way, we have never been more excited to build a more inclusive Web3 world.”
