Macroeconomic headwinds couldn’t dampen enthusiasm for the latest developments in disruptive technology at CES 2023. We found sentiment particularly high with innovation that offers the promise of increased efficiencies, reduced costs, and unlocked profits. Among the highlights, the inevitability of electric mobility became more apparent, aided by the push for autonomous driving and the first solar car in history. Platforms that use artificial intelligence (AI) and digital twin technology to gain insights from data are finding new efficiencies across industries, including defense. Immersive technology hardware and platforms that can make the Metaverse more accessible dominated the show on the consumer side.
