Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates gave his thoughts on the future of Web3, Metaverse, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in his annual Ask Me Anything session on Reddit.
In a Reddit AMA session, a user asked if there was any “giant technological change” currently at a stage similar to the internet in 2000.
Gates responded: “AI is the greatest. I don’t think Web3 was that big, or that the metaverse stuff alone was revolutionary, but the AI is pretty revolutionary.”
He did not elaborate when asked by another user for more information on why he thinks web3 technology is not revolutionary.
