If you are viewing the draft of this interview, it means that you recently posted a story on HackerNoon that the community found interesting and/or valuable. For this reason, we’d like to help the community get to know you better and learn some writing tips from you.

While this template is automated, our interest in the responses below is genuine and will be reviewed by our human (and some cyborg-wannabe) editors before publishing.

So let’s get started! Tell us a bit about yourself. For example, name, profession and personal interests.

I’m Tanyo and I run Crypto Player One.

It’s a daily newsletter that makes you smarter about web3 gaming in less than 5 minutes a day.

I’m interested in games, writing, and soccer (soccer for you Americans).

Interesting! What was your last Hackernoon Top story about?

How I used AI to create the story and art of a web3 game.

Do you usually write about similar topics? If not, what do you usually write about?

Yes, I mainly write about web3 games.

Big! What is your usual writing routine like (if you have one?)

I use Freedom to block out distractions and start writing as soon as I destroy my procrastination.

I do that by procrastinating a lot LOL.

Being a technology writer can be challenging. It’s not often our main role, but rather an addition to another. What is the biggest challenge you have when writing?

Starting.

The rest is easy.

What is the next thing you hope to achieve in your career?

Turn Crypto Player One into a $100 million media company.

Wow, that’s admirable. Now for something more casual: What is your guilty pleasure of choice?

Eating candy.

Do you have a non-tech hobby? And if yes, what?

Yes, go to the gym.

What can the Hacker Noon community expect to read from you next?

Something about web3 games, that’s for sure.

What is your opinion of HackerNoon as a platform for writers?

I love it, it’s easy to use and it gives me access to a huge audience.

Thank you for taking the time to join our “Meet the Writer” series. It was a pleasure. Do you have any closing words?

If you are interested in web3 games, please subscribe to my daily newsletter.
