Game is the first South African retailer to join the metaverse space by launching a branded Roblox game. The retailer’s first foray into the virtual world debuted on November 21 and saw participants win more than R70,000 in coupons ahead of Black Friday and Cyber Monday. The game’s promise was unlike anything consumers had seen before from the retailer, featuring locally themed games with huge prizes won.
