META CEO Mark Zuckerberg has big plans for the metaverse and believes that humans will spend most of their time there.

The tech billionaire believes the metaverse will play an increasingly important role in everyday life over the next decade, and we’ve rounded up some examples of how it’s already encroaching on reality.

This year, Zuckerberg told tech podcaster Lex Fridman: “A lot of people think the metaverse is about a place, but one definition of it is that it’s about a time when basically immersive digital worlds become the way main way we live our lives and spend our time.”

He added: “I think it’s a reasonable construction.”
