As borders open following prolonged COVID-19-induced travel restrictions, the metaverse, one of the newest sub-crypto ecosystems, is set to help travelers decide which destinations they want to experience in person, reveals a new survey carried out by Booking. com personally.
Popular online travel agency Booking.com surveyed 24,179 respondents in 32 countries, revealing strong interest from travelers in exploring destinations virtually while deciding their itinerary. Of the batch, the people most likely to try metaverse travel experiences were Gen Z (45%) and Millennials (43%).
