The ‘H&M Innovation Metaverse Design Story’, a line inspired by virtual reality, was unveiled by H&M on Friday at its H&M Williamsburg location. The physical collection includes several pieces, including a neon yellow dress, beaded black bomber jacket, metallic shoes, and futuristic jewelry, all inspired by the idea of the metaverse. The company stated that it focuses on circularity and that some products are created with recycled polyester fibers purchased from its in-store clothing collection program.
As many brands shift to include the metaverse in their upcoming releases, H&M is focusing on the circular aspect of production to continue its sustainability efforts.
