Bengaluru International Airport is now in the metaverse

Bangalore International Airport Ltd. (BIAL), which operates Kempegowda International Airport, is now in the metaverse and the recently launched T2 terminal can be seen virtually. Called ‘BLR Metaport’, it offers an immersive three-dimensional (3D) virtual experience.

Built in collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Polygon, BLR Metaport will offer customers new ways to interact with the airport, such as checking in for flights, navigating the terminals, shopping, and other social aspects such as connecting with other travelers.
