Launch of 2000 geolocation based Freehold Land NFT parcels on December 17 at 12:00 UTC

In addition to her ongoing Flag sale, Affyn is advancing her NEXUS World metaverse, revealing Singapore as the inaugural city of Affyn’s NEXUS World metaverse. The first city of the metaverse features 2000 Freehold Land NFT plots, with many more cities to be revealed in the coming months.

Affyn’s NEXUS World leverages mobile geolocation features within metaverse cities that map directly to the real world, meaning the 2000 Land NFTs map to a real location in Singapore. Within Affyn’s NEXUS World, each plot is represented by a hexagonal tile averaging around 15,047.5 square meters and approximately 65.9 meters per side. These plots are further categorized by their “rarity” levels as Common, Rare, Epic, and Mythic.

These Land NFTs are the digital representation of real estate within the NEXUS World metaverse. Each parcel of land is characterized by a combination of climates and features, ranging from grass, sand, rock, snow biomes, and much more. The number of features available in each Land is related to the rarity level of the Land. Users with higher Land levels will gain access to more benefits, including increased chances to spawn rarer “Friends”.

After developing the land, owners can potentially rent out portions of virtual real estate to other players and host games, events, and other activities to maximize revenue. Each Land NFT is effectively a hometown where the owner serves as the mayor. This grants landowners the flexibility to build a wide range of businesses on their land and provide services to other players.

The more players participate in Land activities within NEXUS World, the more rewards the owner earns. In addition to this, each Land NFT comes with features that provide owners with additional benefits, such as generating rare “friends” and attracting more players. In addition, Land NFT owners will also have access to invite-only events and campaigns.
