While most tech companies are currently cutting staff, Apple (NASDAQ:) is hiring. Specifically, the company is looking for mixed reality engineers. Last week, the tech giant listed more than 30 AR/VR-related jobs.

Apple is looking for software engineers who are “passionate” about augmented reality. The tech giant is also looking for an AR/VR architect who works with “machine learning, computer vision, and multimedia processing” technologies.

One job posting even mentions developing a “3D mixed reality world,” which looks a lot like the metaverse.
