Angelo, an investment platform that links physical fine art with NFTs, has announced its launch. The web3 platform aims to add a more tactile component to the abstract concept of NFT ownership.
The public will be able to experience Angelo for the first time when the platform launches with an art trading competition in December. This will provide the first practical access to the market before the official full public launch in early 2023.
Angelo allows its members to fractionally invest in physical fine art through NFTs. The platform is aimed at a younger demographic of digital native investors who previously had no access to physical art. Angelo will bridge the gap between the world of fine art and the blockchain industry by supporting fractional ownership of physical art.
Angelo embodies two core concepts: NFT fractionalization (a fast-growing investment sector focused on NFTs broken down into smaller fractions) and the more conventional notion of physical artwork ownership that has historically been out of reach for the average investor.
Angelo aspires to become the home of the art collection for the next generation of forward-thinking investors. These individuals are excited about capitalizing on a new investment opportunity, but may have reservations about the risks, applications, and value of NFTs.
A spokesperson for Angelo said: “Everyone is welcome to join Angelo, from seasoned investors looking to diversify their portfolio to adventurers and pioneers who are new to the game but eager to learn and grow.”
Angelo is soft launching his platform with a unique art trading competition starting on December 5th. Registration opens on November 17.
