Forbes’ new neighbors are Snoop Dogg and Paris Hilton. The business magazine born in New York has not raised sticks in Los Angeles. Instead, it has settled into the so-called metaverse.
The business magazine is not new to Web3 tinkering as it claimed to be the first publisher to have turned your cover into an NFT (non-fungible token) in 2021.
But now its chief technology officer, Vadim Supitskiy, told the Press Gazette that the 105-year-old publication is creating its own little world on the web.
Supitskiy said he was confident the company would pay for itself over time, but creating this virtual experience was primarily about positioning Forbes for the future and expanding the value proposition for subscribers.
